![]() ![]() I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if this was on the roadmap. I also could purchase software like 'StepShot Manuals' but Screenshot Captor already has all the functionality, plus I am more use to it :-). Though it doesnt appear to be instantaneous, it does save the snapshot at the moment when the button was clicked. Plus, I would like to encourage my co-workers on establishing better documentation for ourselves, so something easy would encourage them to use Screenshot Captor instead of PSR. Hit the 'Take Screenshot' button to capture the screen once. I know I can use PrintScreen for manual captures, but sometimes that can be forgotten in long processes. This would allow me to start an install/process, capture it (no matter how long it took), and then paste all the screenshots into OneNote. If you are a Mac OS user then you’d know how beautiful its screenshots look. All of the other functionality is already built-in. Taking screenshots is a basic task, but windows screenshot-taking functionality is pretty much limited. I was thinking Screenshot Captor's automatic timer was similar to what I was looking for, except instead of time, base the screen-captures on Mouse Clicks. Kludgy is the most apt description for the process. This option can also be enabled in the Settings app, under Accessibility. On recent versions of Windows 11, you can press the Print screen key instead. As you can see in the image above a snapshot of all active applications is displayed (surrounded by a black box border) whenever I move the mouse. Press Windows + Shift + S on your keyboard. Support primary/secondary mouse button and single/double click action. Im using Windows 10 and when I move my mouse a list of active applications pop up - blocking the active window. This can greatly impact your user experience, especially when you single-click on a folder or setup file, it opens instead of just showing info. I use PSR.exe, and then edit the resulting MHT file inside Microsoft Word. Simple Mouse Clicker is a free software that can automate your mouse clicking. You turn on your Windows PC, and a moment later, you notice that every time you click on the mouse, it acts as a double-click. ![]() I am looking for something that can be a better "PSR" (Problem Steps Recorder) than Windows provides. I did know of that utility, but was looking for something a little different. ![]()
